Deposit tips
- Photo / video every room (empty + close-ups of walls, floors, appliances) before you leave.
- Match the move-in condition report if you have one; note pre-existing wear.
- Replace burned-out bulbs and missing smoke-detector batteries if your lease requires them.
- Remove all trash and personal items from closets, cabinets, balcony, and storage.
- Return keys / fobs / parking passes and get a written receipt when possible.
